Let’s start with something simple, yet deeply profound. And that is; “God has invited you to trust Him”. His Word is telling you to do so, so what more do you need? His invitation isn’t just a general suggestion, it’s a divine call backed by unshakable promises.
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart…” (Proverbs 3:5),
“You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in You…” (Isaiah 26:3-4).
God isn’t distant or indifferent, He is near, and He’s offering you the safest place to anchor your heart.
Now, think about what it means when someone looks you in the eye and says, “You can trust me.” It’s powerful, isn’t it? It tells you they’re confident in their ability to come through. But here’s the awe-inspiring truth: this invitation isn’t coming from just anyone, it’s coming from the Creator of the universe!, the Great I Am!, the King of Glory!.
The same God whose Word never changes (1 Samuel 15:29). The same God whose promises are always Yes and Amen (2 Corinthians 1:20). The same God in whom there is no shadow of turning (James 1:17).
Unlike people who may fail, break promises, or change over time, God never does. Hence, when He says you can trust Him, He means it. As Scripture boldly declares, “God is not human, that He should lie… Has He said, and will He not do it?” (Numbers 23:19).
So here’s my encouragement to you: Accept the invitation!! Because He deeply wants you lean on HIM.
