If you ask me, this is the most powerful reason to trust God. What could be more comforting, more deeply reassuring, than placing your trust in the One who loves you beyond what human words can express?

Before you ever took your first breath, before your name was spoken aloud, God knew you. He had thoughts and plans specifically for you (Jeremiah 1:5; 29:11). That kind of intentional love is hard to grasp, but it’s real. He didn’t wait for you to get everything right before extending His love. In fact, He loved you first, before you ever thought to love Him back.

And He didn’t just say it, He proved it. God gave His only Son, Jesus, to die for our sins (John 3:16). That’s not ordinary love. That’s sacrificial, relentless, undeserved love. A love that doesn’t depend on how good you’ve been, how broken you feel, or how many mistakes you’ve made. As Ephesians 2:4 reminds us, He loved us even when we were still sinners.

This is the foundation beneath every other reason to trust Him:
Not only is God trustworthy because He commands it…
Not only because He is faithful and never fails…
But because He loves you more deeply, more unconditionally, and more consistently than any human ever could.

People may stop loving. People may leave. But God is always there—ever-present, ever-loving, ever-reliable (Psalm 103:4).

And that, dear reader, is a love you can trust with your whole heart.
